Team Loving, Learning, & Leading
The Groce United Methodist Church Leadership Team (TL3) is nominated to represent the congregation, their individual faith journeys, and an understanding of the relationship with the United Methodist Church.
Loving
The team works within the framework of the Simplified Leadership
Structure (SLS) as adapted by Groce UMC starting at the beginning
of 2023. This structure combines the past Church Council,
Finance Committee, and Trustees into a single team. The
goal of this arrangement is to decrease the time spent in
meetings and obtaining directions/approvals so that more time is
spent on fulfilling Groce UMC's mission.
Learning
TL3 developed and adopted a Relational Covenant to guide their
interactions as a team and team members.
