Jill Rhinehart joined Groce UMC as pastor on July 1, 2023. She was born in Asheville and raised in Kings Mtn, NC. She received a BS from NC State University and a Master of Divinity from Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, NC. Jill graduated Magna Cum Laudi. She started in ministry with the United Methodist Church in 2003 and became an Ordained Elder in 2010 with the Western NC Conference.

Becky Wilburn is a native of our sister state, Virginia, and has an extensive background with playing for churches! At just fifteen years old, she was hired to play the organ at Ghent Brethren Church in Roanoke, VA. Travelling across the Blue Ridge Mountains with her husband, she finally settled in Asheville, NC in 1987. She is excited to continue learning all she can about music and what Groce has to offer!

Gayle Decker is the Administrator/Treasurer who comes to Groce from Central Florida. Gayle has a degree in Finance and enjoys working with numbers. In her spare time, Gayle breeds, trains, and competes in dog shows with her Beagle family.

Kelley is an East-Asheville native who grew up attending Groce UMC. She graduated from UNC Asheville in 2022 studying Religious Studies, and graduated from Harvard Divinity School with her Master of Divinity in 2025. She's excited to return to her home church, and is eager to talk to anyone and everyone!

Tammy Peek is the church’s Custodian. She is a native of Asheville and attended Blue Ridge Tech for Interior Design. She owns her own cleaning business called Tammy’s Touch.
