Church of Excellence

The Church Council made the decision to adopt the goals set forth by the Church of Excellence program. Action was taken at the December 2007 council meeting to proceed with these goals in 2008. A meeting was scheduled for members of the GUMC Ministries for January 10 for a dinner and a discussion about the goals set forth in the Church of Excellence program. More than 50 church members attended this meeting, an overwhelming response by members toward the establishment of these goals for GUMC.
