Steve Cooper is the Director of Music and the Organist.  He came to Groce in October 1984, and has enjoyed his many years with our church family.  He was born and raised in Asheville, where he graduated from AC Reynolds High School in 1978.  He holds a Bachelor of Music degree Summa cum laude from Greensboro College.  When not at work, Steve enjoys jogging and exercise with friends at the YMCA, reading poetry, hiking in the mountains, and keeping up with his teenage son, Christian.
