Gerald Davis has been Senior Pastor of Groce Church since July 1, 2007. Gerald was raised in North Alabama, the son of a United Methodist pastor.  He completed his BA degree at Birmingham Southern College, Birmingham, Alabama, and received his Master of Divinity at Vanderbilt Divinity School, Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Groce UMC is the sixth appointment he has served over his 25 years in the United Methodist ministry. Gerald and his wife, Kathryn, have two sons, Hayden and Dylan.  Some of Gerald’s interests include spending time with his family, camping, running, reading, and guitar pickin’.
